Easy Tuscan/Marry Me Chicken Pasta Recipe

Ingredients

4 – medium chicken breasts, diced small

1- tsp Italian seasoning

½ – tsp garlic powder

1- tbsp fresh thyme

To taste – salt & black pepper

2 – tbsp olive oil

Optional – red pepper flakes

2 – tbsp butter

4- cloves garlic, minced (or jarlic)

¾ – cup sun‑dried tomatoes, chopped, julienne, or halved

1-  tsp italian seasoning

To taste – Red pepper flakes

2 – cups heavy cream

1- cup chicken broth

1- cup freshly grated parmesan

Handful – fresh basil leaves

1- lb fusilli or rigatoni but you can use any pasta you like

Instructions

  1. Season & Sear the Chicken. Toss diced chicken with Italian seasoning, garlic powder, thyme, salt, pepper, and optional red pepper flakes. Heat olive oil in a large skillet and sear chicken until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
  2. Build the Sauce Base. In the same skillet, melt butter. Add garlic and sauté until fragrant. Stir in sun‑dried tomatoes, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes.
  3. Make It Creamy. Pour in heavy cream and chicken broth. Bring to a gentle simmer, then whisk in parmesan until melted and smooth.
  4. Cook the Pasta. Boil fusilli or rigatoni in salted water until al dente. Reserve 1/2 cup pasta water.
  5. Bring It Together. Add chicken back into the sauce. Stir in cooked pasta and splash in pasta water as needed for silkiness.
  6. Finish & Serve. Top with torn fresh basil, extra Parmesan, and a pinch of red pepper flakes. Serve warm and creamy.
