I’m starting a new series, and kind of reframing another one I have to combine with this one, because it’s not like I don’t have enough but it’s called, The Soft Girl Survival Guide, because honestly sometimes, life is loud, chaotic, and aggressively uncozy, and someone needs to document how we’re surviving it with iced coffee, emotional support snacks, and a questionable relationship with productivity. This series is for the girls who are soft, but also dramatic. Cozy, but also chaotic. Gentle, but also one minor inconvenience away from a full‑blown existential crisis. It’s for the girl who wants peace but also wants to spiral a little bit for fun.
We’re starting with the foundation, Cozy Girl Constitution, the official laws I live by. These are not suggestions. These are not guidelines. These are legally binding (in my heart). So here we go……
The Cozy Girl Constitution: Laws I Live By
Article I: No decisions before coffee or your version of your morning drink.
If I haven’t sipped, I cannot decide. I cannot think. I cannot be held responsible for anything I say, do, or agree to.
Article II: Naps are protected time.
A nap is not laziness. It is a constitutional right. It is self‑preservation. It is survival.
Article III: Snacks are emotional support items.
If I’m holding a granola bar, mind your business. I’m stabilizing my mood.
Article IV: Ambiance is half the task.
I cannot “get my life together” unless the lighting is warm, the playlist is vibey, and the blanket is soft enough to emotionally hug me. Vibes matter.
Article V: All chores are side quests.
Laundry is lore. Dishes are character development. Vacuuming is a boss battle.
Article VI: Silence is sacred.
If I’m quiet, I’m either recharging, plotting, or pretending to be mysterious. All are valid.
Article VII: Hydration is a personality trait.
I need three beverages at all times….one for hydration, one for vibes and the aesthetic, one for chaos.
Article VIII: Overthinking is a recreational sport.
I will spiral, but softly. Gently. Aesthetic overthinking only.
Article IX: Comfort over everything.
If it’s itchy, tight, loud, stressful, or requires me to be “on,” I simply won’t be participating.
Article X: Delusion is a coping mechanism.
I will believe my life is turning around on Monday. Every Monday. Forever.
The Soft Girl Era Has Begun
And that, babe, is the Cozy Girl Constitution, the legal framework for surviving life with softness, snacks, and selective participation in reality. If you’re ready for more, buckle up. This series is about to expose every chaotic, cozy, dramatic instinct we’ve been pretending isn’t our personality. Welcome to the Soft Girl Survival Guide. Where the laws are gentle, the vibes are cozy, and the delusion is federally protected.
XOXO,
Savi Monroe
